I am a native English speaker (and Hebrew) based in Haifa. I coach online clients across Israel - popular with olim and English speakers who want clear communication without gym-bro hype - and I offer in-person sessions at FitBox plus at-home training in Carmel, Horev, and Ahuza.
If you searched for an English-speaking personal trainer in Haifa, you probably want two things at once: someone who will not make you translate gym slang, and a plan that does not assume you already "know the secret."
Online coaching (main focus)
You train at your gym. I build the plan, check your form on video, and follow up weekly. This is the better fit if the gym feels intimidating but you still want real accountability. Most of my growth is here on purpose: I can coach people in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, or a kibbutz gym without asking them to drive to Haifa three times a week.
A full explainer: Online fitness coach in Israel. The low-risk entry is Foundation - 4 weeks at ₪299, no monthly minimum. If you continue to monthly coaching, the full ₪299 is credited to month 1.
In-person in Haifa
- Personal training at FitBox: ₪275 per walk-in session; packs and memberships from ₪175 per session at higher frequency
- At-home training from ₪350 per session; weekly from ₪300; monthly from ₪1,200
- Beginner boxing and kickboxing: ₪225 per session, in person only
- Paid consult: ₪100 on Google Meet, or ₪150 at FitBox
FitBox is my base. I have coached there for 3+ years. In-person is a secondary path on the site, not because it is "less real," but because online is how I can take more beginners without filling every hour in the gym. If you live on the Carmel and want sessions at home, say so in the quiz or on WhatsApp after you leave details.

Foundation is ₪299 for 4 weeks. In-person in Haifa is available if you want someone in the room.
How I work with English speakers and olim
You can do the whole funnel in English: the homepage toggle, the quiz at /en/start, Foundation at /en/foundation, and policies at /en/resources/policies. Check-ins can stay in English. I will not switch you to Hebrew mid-sentence to "help you practice" unless you ask.
The coaching style is calm on purpose. A lot of olim already feel watched in Israeli gyms - different language, different floor culture, machines with no English labels. Adding a loud trainer on top of that is a bad match. I write the session so you can arrive, follow the list, and leave without performing for the room.
A simple week if you train in Haifa
Three days, about 45 minutes. One upper-body day you can preview for free: upper-body starter. Warm up with the 3-minute joint warmup if you want a no-equipment start. I will not copy-paste a CrossFit benchmark as your first week. Those workouts are on the site as resources, not as a beginner default.
If you feel lost on the floor, read (Hebrew, but the point is the same): feeling watched at the gym. Online vs in-person tradeoff: comparison article.
Certifications and limits
Wingate personal trainer certification, FitBox, C4F functional training, and a pregnancy-training workshop. Wingate is the baseline license in Israel, not a luxury badge. I am not a clinical dietitian and I do not make medical claims. If you are pregnant or postpartum, get medical clearance first - I wrote a careful Hebrew guide: כושר בהריון ואחרי לידה.
Neighborhoods and logistics
Carmel, Horev, and Ahuza are the at-home radius I treat as standard. If you are farther - Nesher, Tirat Carmel, the Krayot - ask. Sometimes it still works. Sometimes online from your own gym is cleaner than me sitting in traffic for a ₪350 session that starts late. I would rather say no to a drive than show up rushed and pretend it is still "personal training."
FitBox sessions are in the gym, on the equipment that is actually there. First in-person hour is not a punishment circuit. We confirm goals, look at how you move a squat, a hinge, a press, and a pull, and you leave with the next week written. If we already started Foundation online, the in-person hour is a form lab, not a second sales meeting.
Beginner combat, without the specialist tax
Boxing and kickboxing for people who have never done it: ₪225 a session in Haifa. I was coached for three years in classic boxing and kickboxing by Tsach Harel. That is real practice, not a weekend seminar. It is also not the same as a dedicated combat coach with fight-team hours. The price sits below specialist combat rates on purpose. If you want to compete, I will tell you to go to a fight gym. If you want to learn to move, hit pads, and stop feeling silly in gloves, this is the lane.
Combat is in person only. I will not sell you "online boxing." The rest of your strength work can still live in the app during the week.
The full site is in English if you want it: same prices, same Foundation offer. I will not make you take the Hebrew quiz "because you live here now."
How to start
If you want in-person in Haifa, take the quiz and pick that intent, or book a consult after the form routes you to scheduling. If you want online from anywhere in Israel, Foundation is the clean first purchase. Either way you see the prices and the policy before I ask for a long commitment.
Google reviews are on the profile linked from the site footer. I ask beginners to mention patience and a clear plan if they write one - that is the work, not a transformation photo.
